The Theatre, Virtual Reality Center, and International Museum of World War II are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 am until 5 pm. Please call 401.862.3030 or email us at info@wwiifoundation.org for more information. Our address is 344 Main Street, South Kingstown, Rhode Island. We are located 20 minutes from Newport and 30 minutes from Providence. We offer both guided and self-guided tours.
There is no cost for school groups to visit. The Foundation will pay the fee of school bus rental for public schools. Each visitor to the Global Education Center and The International Museum of World War II will leave with a free World War II Foundation documentary film of their choice ($20 value). The regular admission cost is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. There is never any cost for veterans to tour the center.


































The World War II Foundation tells the personal stories of the World War II generation through documentary films and utilizing the latest in Virtual Reality and AI storytelling.
Our Founder and President, Tim Gray, has Directed, Produced, and Written over 40 documentaries about the war, which air worldwide via American Public Television.
The film’s narrators include Tom Brokaw, Jeff Daniels, Kevin Bacon, Dan Aykroyd, Gary Sinise, Tom Selleck, Keith Morrison, Jane Lynch, Matthew Broderick, Darius Rucker, Luke Bryan, Greg Kinnear, Jim Nantz, Bill Belichick, Damian Lewis, Jon Seda, Jason Beghe, David McCallum, Liev Schreiber, Kyle Chandler, Tim McCarver, and Dale Dye.
Tim’s films, shot on location in Europe and the Pacific, are among the top five national programs that PBS stations request.
Recognized with American Public Television’s National Programming Excellence Award, World War II Foundation Documentaries Rank in the Top 5 of Most Requested Programs Nationally by PBS Stations.
